Product Engineer

 

Position Overview: As part of the Wellhead Business Development Unit, the Product Engineer will join a team responsible for new product design, maintenance and revision of existing designs of wellhead equipment. Primary duties will include the following:•Create engineering drawings, calculations and documents related to design activities with a good understanding of mechanical design principles and stress analysis
•Manage specific projects for existing product enhancements and new product development
•Work closely with sales and customers
•Conduct research for designing specific products
•Create drawings, procedures, and documents related to manufacture and assembly of tools
•Ensure engineering tasks required for product development are completed within agreed schedulesPreferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:

•Bachelor or Masters Engineering Degree (preferred Mechanical)
•Minimum 5 years Design or Engineering experience, detailed design work – preferably with wellhead equipment
•Working knowledge of Pro-Engineer or AutoCAD drafting software, ANSYS FEA and MathCad
•Understanding of relevant regulations API 6A, API Q1, ISO 9001, ASME Section VIII
•Proficient with Microsoft Office
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Strong problem solving and organizational skills
•Solid work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Machinist

 

Position Overview: Key Position Function:

• Operate CNC Lathes according to program and in conjunction with work order and drawing.
• Maintain productivity, efficiency, production standards and product quality.
• Is responsible for dimensional inspection of each part manufactured.
• Perform machine set-ups, tooling set-ups, program modifications and offset adjustments as required.
• To identify machining rejects (By separation and/or marking)
• Maintain Operational Procedures during machining process including
material handling.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment in a safe and conscientious manner.
• Keep machines clean and maintain a neat and clean work area.
• Work in conjunction with programming and industrial engineering to maintain, improve and recommend efficient machining methods.
• Be aware of and follow all company HS&E rules and regulations and report all accidents, however small.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must have good communication skills and able to read and write English.
• Must have average mathematical ability.
• Must be able to interpret drawings.
• Must be able to edit, modify and write CNC Programs.
• Must have successfully passed Companies three months probationary period and have a minimum of eighteen (18) months experience as a CNC Lathe Operator

•Three years minimum previous experience as a CNC Machine Operator.
